Updates Check out their Internet BLOG - Heather The last shoeboxes ministry true story we got Dear brothers, sisters and friends: May God bless you very much today! Esther is a 9 years old girl, who lives in Meoqui, Chih. (285 miles from El Paso, Tx. Highway 45 to Mexico City); her Mom said that she still crying for her Daddy because he passed away 6 months ago. She and her Mom are living just by about $ 20.00 USD that she is gaining per week, cleaning as much houses as she can get to clean. Six months ago, my Wife and I got the opportunity to attend the funeral of her Daddy; since then, my Wife, for some reason, many times got into her heart and mind the little face of Esther. Inasmuch as, like other times, all the shoeboxes and blessing bags ministries left very many of them with us, through that, we get the great blessing to deliver or distribute them! Therefore, at this time, we were, personally, to deliver the gift to little Esther. She is attending elementary school’s afternoon shift. Minutes later when we arrived and found her house, we asked her to open the gift… As she was opening it, she became a very smiling and happy little girl. We never got news about other(s) gift(s) for her from relatives or family friends, so, we realized that these were the only gifts she got. No doubt! The word “thank you” in her lips, it does get another dimension. We think that we do understand in a limited way, how the Lord hears thanksgiving like that! God bless all of you who are involved in these shoeboxes and blessing bags ministry, for our dear people in Mexico! May God reward you 100 times more!
